Duties
Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils to uphold food safety standards
Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of dishes for service periods
Handle food handling responsibilities with attention to proper storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures
Buss tables and clear dining areas efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations
Assist with banquet setups and catering events as needed, ensuring all food presentation meets standards
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure excellent customer service
Skills
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety protocols
Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation practices
Experience in banquet service or hotel kitchens is a plus
Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly within a team and interact positively with customers
