Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Support cooks and chefs in cooking tasks and food service operations. Monitor food quality during preparation to ensure freshness and adherence to standards. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all food safety protocols to minimize risks of contamination.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various kitchen roles as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in the kitchen setting.

Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour
