Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients Handle food items with care, ensuring safe food handling practices are followed Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served Support serving staff during peak hours by preparing plates and assisting with food delivery Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies as needed

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues A passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
