Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices at all times. Support cooks in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and meal preparation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
