Here we grow again, now opening Newmarket inside the Upper Canada Mall.

Gabby's Restaurant's (Urban Dining Group) are owned and operated by 2 local Toronto families. This year we are celebrating our 36th Anniversary and we continue to provide exceptional food value and great local neighborhood service.

We are currently looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager (or experienced AKM looking for your next step). Our wish is for a Kitchen Manager that will motivate and energize staff on every shift. You will need to have drive and a service based mindset to make decisions in the best interest of the restaurant. You understand labor, food cost and know how you can help with controlling each on a daily basis. You will lead on the line by example and keep a clean and organized kitchen.

Ideally you have 4+ years of solid KM experience in a high volume and fast paced environment.

Must haves:

MUST LIVE in NEWMARKET AREA

Full service (sit down) restaurant experience is a must.

Ability to uphold high standards in food quality and fiscal management

Able to train and coach all staff to ensure you are delivering great food to each guest

New Store opening experience is a bonus

Strong knowledge with Inventories and Labor control

Successful long term stays (4+ years) at previous employment
