Kitchen ManagerPay: $60,000 - $65,000 startingLocation: St Clair and WinonaSize: 70 seats with 40 seat patioHours: Full Time (5-6 days) (Minimum 44 hours)Responsibilities:Is responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of the restaurant.Is responsible to hire staff, purchase food and stock, and make sure everyone is trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques.Is responsible to ensure that the restaurants' standards are upheld

  • the food looks good and is cooked properly
  • the proportions are correct
  • and it is cooked and served quickly.
Is responsible for Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed for maximum freshness.Is responsible that the kitchen is properly cleaned on a regular schedule, food is disposed of properly and the kitchen meets all sanitary/ Health Board standards.Is responsible for keeping tabs on food cost, waste and employee hours, doing their best to optimize profit for the restaurant and create the best dining experience possible for customers.Is responsible to be on the lineKitchen Manager should have
  • 3 years kitchen management experience in a high volume casual dining restaurant.
  • Must have strong communications skills and be able to build strong working relations with a diverse work force.
  • We are looking for a restaurant leader who can work with a team to deliver great food in a timely fashion
  • We are seeking a Kitchen Manager that is familiar with ordering and able to adapt based on changes of season or sales volume.
