Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food preparation and presentation. The Kitchen Manager will play a key role in managing team performance, streamlining kitchen processes, and upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and food handlers Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health codes Develop staff schedules, provide training, and foster a positive team environment Monitor restaurant operations to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction Assist in menu planning and recipe development to enhance culinary offerings Ensure compliance with all relevant hospitality and restaurant management policies

Skills



Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Excellent team management and leadership capabilities Deep understanding of restaurant management practices and hospitality standards Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills to serve both staff and customers effectively Experience with restaurant operations, including inventory control and service excellence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.12-$25.00 per hour
