We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager/Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and support personnel, fostering a positive team environment focused on high-quality food production and service.
Assist with menu planning, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and align with dietary requirements and customer preferences.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Coordinate with the catering and banquet teams to execute large-scale events flawlessly, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through efficient food management practices.
Enforce strict food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations.
Supervise shift operations, including staffing schedules, training new team members, and managing daily kitchen workflows for optimal productivity.
Skills
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments.
Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Knowledge of banquet operations, food production techniques, and dietary department requirements.
Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate with other departments.
