Responsibilities
Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Manage food preparation processes and oversee cooking techniques to maintain high-quality standards.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service skills.
Collaborate with management to create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures within the kitchen.
Maintain a positive atmosphere by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
Address customer feedback promptly and professionally to enhance overall dining experiences.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the culinary industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
Proficient in food preparation techniques with a solid understanding of various cuisines.
Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
