Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, managing food preparation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Assist in the hiring process by conducting interviews and training new kitchen staff. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for kitchen operations. Monitor kitchen performance metrics and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the restaurant or food industry of at-least 2 years Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in supervising staff is highly desirable.
