Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This person will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a diverse team while maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality in every dish. Prepare the weekly schedule for the kitchen staff. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure smooth operations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety protocols. Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall dining experience and address customer feedback. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health standards.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong food preparation skills with a deep understanding of cooking techniques. Extensive knowledge of food service operations and restaurant management practices. Ability to effectively manage a team while fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and maintain high morale. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations related to food handling. Previous restaurant experience is essential, along with hands-on kitchen experience. Ideally 3 years experience.
