Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise, team management, and operational oversight in a fast-paced environment.

We are primarily a breakfast and lunch restaurant operating from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm

Duties



Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and cooking processes. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Oversee the preparation of menu items, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for kitchen staff. Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery. Address customer inquiries and feedback to enhance dining experiences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

Requirements



Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices. Experience with POS systems; Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Prior experience in interviewing and training staff is advantageous. Kitchen experience is essential; breakfast experience is a bonus.
