We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations of a busy downtown pub that has been in business for 30+ years.
Duties
- Starting salary will be determined on experience
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Supervise kitchen operations to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with the culinary team
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train new kitchen employees on proper food handling procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding food quality and service
- Oversee scheduling, and performance evaluations of kitchen staff
Qualifications
- Must have Pervious management or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficiency in cooking techniques and menu planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver license and vehicle
- Must have your Foodsafe certificate and a valid Proserve
