Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, team management, and customer service within a fast-paced environment. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health regulations while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with local health regulations. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to minimize waste. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff performance; conduct interviews for new hires. Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while ensuring quality. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operational. Implement standard operating procedures for food preparation and presentation.

Skills

Proficient in food handling practices and knowledge of food safety regulations. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen staff. Experience in food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Familiarity with LightSpeed for managing orders and inventory tracking. Excellent interviewing skills for recruiting new kitchen staff members. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest feedback effectively. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices.
