Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and assisting them with their orders. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are necessary. Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.49 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
