Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Assist in inventory management.
Monitor food quality and presentation to meet restaurant standards.
Collaborate with management to implement cost control measures while maintaining quality.
Maintain equipment and kitchen supplies, ensuring everything is in working order.
Experience
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within the food industry.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
Background in restaurant management or hospitality is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
