We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Leader to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Kitchen Leader, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure that all food safety standards are met while maintaining high-quality food preparation and service.
Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Train new employees on food handling, preparation techniques, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with management to develop menus and special offerings that enhance customer satisfaction.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
Address customer inquiries and feedback regarding food service to enhance the dining experience.
Manage inventory levels of food supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability.
Experience
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a kitchen setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
Background in restaurant management or hospitality is advantageous.
