We're running a bold global cuisine kitchen residency inside a microbrewery -- a fusion of spice and soul. Think masala tacos, paneer al pastor, and churros with cardamom chocolate. We're looking for a self-motivated, skilled cook to help us bring this vibrant menu to life.
The Role
You'll be working independently to prep, cook, and plate dishes during service, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed. This is a hands-on kitchen role that calls for both creativity and discipline.
Responsibilities
Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and plating standards
Handle marination, dough mixing, frying, and baking tasks confidently
Maintain clean and organized prep and service areas
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Manage inventory and prep lists with minimal supervision
Communicate effectively with front-of-house and brewery staff
Support catering or off-site events when needed
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience
Strong knife skills and familiarity with both hot line and prep work
Experience with doughs, marinades, and fry station work
Food Handler's Certification (required)
Valid driver's license (asset for catering/off-site events)
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Weekend and evening availability
Bonus Skills
Baking or pastry experience
Background in Indian, Mexican, or fusion cuisines
Experience in pop-ups or small kitchen operations
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) + share of tips.
