Job Description

Sunco Foods Ltd, a well-established food manufacturing business located in Winnipeg, is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and positive individual to join our production team. For over 40 years, we have been producing high-quality noodle and dough products, and we are now seeking a Kitchen Helper to assist in the production process.

As a Kitchen Helper, you will be a key part of our team, supporting the manufacturing of our signature noodle and dough products using specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery to mix, knead, and shape dough for noodle production

Assist in the preparation and batching of flour and other ingredients

Monitor and adjust machinery to ensure consistent product quality

Perform production tasks, including noodles processing, shaping, and packaging

Ensure that production equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained

Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area

Follow safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe working environment

Assist in other production-related tasks as assigned

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

Detail-oriented, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently

A team player with good communication skills

Ability to lift at least 40 lbs as needed

Positive attitude, hard-working, with a focus on quality and safety

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.80-$17.00 per hour
