Duties

Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation and cooking tasks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as necessary. Support the team during meal service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating dishes. Clean workstations, floors, and surfaces to uphold health standards in the kitchen. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and basic food preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen. A willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service is highly valued.

Pay: $15.80-$18.00 per hour
