We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our Head Cook in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential in assisting with food preparation, food handling, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily kitchen activities. Duties
Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
Support the team in serving food and beverages to guests when needed
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients
Ensure the kitchen area is hygienic and complies with health and safety standards
Support in setting up and breaking down dining areas as required
Collaborate with restaurant staff to deliver excellent food service experiences
Requirements
Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food safety standards
Ability to handle food properly and maintain hygiene standards
Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn new skills
