Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential for ensuring smooth food preparation and service operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to cleanliness, and a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients Support cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing Help with food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Assist with dishwashing and waste disposal to keep the kitchen organized and sanitary Support serving staff during meal service as needed Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about culinary operations and hospitality standards
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 36 per week
