We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support chefs and cooks during meal service by ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to the kitchen supervisor. Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts, including sweeping and mopping floors.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn. Knowledge of Japanese food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent cleaning habits and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating a positive attitude. Experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn above all.
