Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential in assisting with food preparation, food handling, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, experience in food service or restaurant settings, and a strong work ethic committed to supporting our kitchen operations.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients Support cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met Organize and store ingredients and supplies appropriately Support serving staff during meal times as needed Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of shortages Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food safety standards Experience with food preparation and basic cooking skills is desirable Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
