Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality industries. The Kitchen Helper will play a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and assisting with food preparation and cleaning tasks.

Duties

Assist with basic food preparation and cooking under supervision Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning Help with food handling and storage to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Support the culinary team in setting up workstations for meal service Assist with dishwashing and waste disposal to keep the kitchen tidy Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth workflow Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations

Skills

Experience in food handling, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred Knowledge of cleaning protocols and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food service procedures are advantageous Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff Hospitality experience, including hotel or restaurant work, is a plus Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety
