Duties
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards to provide safe dining experiences for our customers.
Support the team during busy service periods by helping with food assembly and plating.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all operational procedures.
Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Participate in regular cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Requirements
Previous experience in meal preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A genuine passion for cooking and the food industry is highly desirable.
Proficient in both English and Mandarin
