Job Description
Shiok Singapore Cuisine is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our kitchen staff at our location in East Vancouver (Kingsway near Victoria). Our ideal team member would be hardworking, willing to learn, and able to work quickly and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare food for cooking, including cutting meat, peeling and slicing vegetables, etc Cleaning and putting away dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc Removing garbage and recycling, sweeping, and mopping floor Clean and sanitize all work surfaces and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations Handle raw and cooked food in an appropriate and sanitary fashion
Requirements:
Ability to communicate in English and/or Vietnamese Ability to work legally in Canada Experience in Southeast Asian restaurant kitchens is a bonus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
