Duties

Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Support chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking tasks Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met Help with menu planning and catering for special events as needed Serve food to guests in a fine dining setting, ensuring an exceptional dining experience Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours

Experience

Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining standards is a plus Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the restaurant or culinary field Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are essential Background in catering or serving within a fast-paced kitchen environment is beneficial A commitment to maintaining food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
