Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for meal service Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff Help with food handling and storage to ensure proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Serve dishes to customers or assist in serving meals in a timely manner Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met Support meal preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock needs

Skills

Experience in serving and food preparation within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques and food handling procedures Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities Attention to detail in meal presentation and hygiene practices Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is advantageous but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.35-$16.00 per hour
