Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the cook or chef. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low inventory levels. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by assisting with various tasks as needed. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.

Skills

Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the restaurant or food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service. Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus but not required. Knows how to Speak Tagalog, English and French
