Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team at Cafe Mozaiko in Canada. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality Japanese cuisine.

Responsibilities

Assist in meal and food preparation to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Support chefs with cooking tasks as needed. Handle food safely and adhere to hygiene standards. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. Collaborate with team members to enhance kitchen efficiency. Follow recipes and presentation standards for dishes. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Basic cooking skills are an asset. Willingness to learn and take direction from chefs. Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
