Our restaurant is in need of 2 kitchen helpers to help us prep Vietnamese food in the kitchen:
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Prepare materials for dishes such as cooking vermicelli, preparing salad rolls and spring rolls, dumplings, marinating chicken, beef and pork, etc.
- Prepare food ingredients by cleaning, slicing, mixing and cooking foods.
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas,
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sweep, mop, wash floors.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor.
We prefer candidates with minimum 1 year experience working in commercial kitchen. Asian (or Vietnamese) kitchen experience is an asset.
