We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices
Assist with cooking tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils and workstations
Support serving staff by preparing items for service and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages
Qualifications
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment required
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills
Understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
Passion for the food industry and eagerness to learn culinary skills

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
