Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Help cooks with cooking tasks as needed, ensuring that all food items are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Stock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure the kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Support the team during busy service periods by providing assistance wherever necessary.

Skills

Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and kitchen operations. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
