We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Support chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Help with serving food during meal times, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and safety in the kitchen environment. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. Participate in training sessions on food safety and kitchen best practices.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are advantageous. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for the culinary arts and eagerness to learn about various aspects of food service.
