We are looking for a responsible and quick-learning
kitchen helper
to join our team. This role supports daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth service and a clean, organized workspace.
Working Hours:
3 to 5 shifts per week (including weekends and holidays)
Shifts depend on business needs (lunch/dinner hours)
Flexible schedule preferred
Wage:
$18-23/hour (based on experience)
Staff meals provided
Wage increase based on performance
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Food Preparation
- Washing, peeling, cutting vegetables and meat
- Assisting with marinating, portioning, and sauce preparation
- Preparing daily ingredients as requested by the chef
Plating and Service Assistance
- Assisting with plating and sending out dishes
- Assembling dishes quickly and accurately
- Restocking necessary condiments and garnishes
Kitchen Cleaning
- Keeping workstations clean and organized
- Cleaning tools and equipment before and after service
- Taking out garbage, recycling, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
General Assistance
- Receiving and organizing deliveries
- Helping with inventory and storage (including refrigerated/frozen items)
- Supporting other duties as needed
We're looking for someone who:
Has kitchen experience (preferred, but not required -- we can train)
Can work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Has basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
Is detail-oriented, cooperative, and a team player
Can communicate in basic English or Mandarin
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
