Kitchen Helper
Job Description
Wash, clean, slice, portion or trim food items using manual and electric appliances.
Wash work tables, cupboards, appliances, baking pans and baking trays.
Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas.
Use various kitchen equipment to prepare different menu items.
Assemble, wrap and package prepared food.
Keep track of quantities of food used.
Receive payments for items purchased.
Sweep and mop floors.
Accompany delivery driver to deliver prepared food to designated locations.
Remove trash and clean garbage containers.
Perform other duties to assist chef, cook and kitchen staff.
Will be required to pass a criminal records check and vulnerable sector check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.70 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
