We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly. Duties

Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure that workstations are organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Help with inventory management by restocking items as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Support the team during meal service by delivering food to designated areas and assisting with plating as required. Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed. Knowledge of basic food safety practices is preferred but can be taught on the job.
