Job Summary

We are seeking a kitchen helper/dishwasher to assist our team in a busy bakery.

Responsibilities

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Wash, store, fill, and butter delicate moulds. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages. Work quickly, efficiently, and safely. Assist with various preparation tasks to support Prep Staff and Bakers. Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure efficient operations during busy periods. Be enthusiastic about the bakery's success.

Skills

Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations. Open to obtaining a FoodSafe certificate. Organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and order. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand instructions from staff and coworkers. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to baking and food service.
