We are currently hiring both part-time and full-time Kitchen staff for our Flaming Kitchen Downtown location, by College Station.
DUTIES:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards for quality control.
Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation for daily service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
SKILLS:
Proficient in food handling techniques and knowledge of food safety standards.
Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen operations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Languages:
Fluency in both English and Mandarin are preferred for this position.

A valid SIN number is required to file taxes.

Must be able to reliably commute to the work location at 472 Yonge Street.
