We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Report any maintenance or repair needs of dishwashing equipment to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food service operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
