Job Description

Responsibilities:

Client Consultation

: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for kitchen projects.

Design Development

: Create detailed kitchen designs, including layouts, specifications, and color schemes using design software.

Space Planning

: Optimize kitchen layouts for functionality, including the arrangement of appliances, cabinets, and workspaces.

Material Selection

: Recommend materials and finishes for countertops, cabinets, flooring, and fixtures, considering durability and style.

Rendering and Prototyping

: Produce visual representations such as 3D renderings or models to help clients visualize the final product.

Collaboration

: Work with contractors, builders, and other professionals to ensure designs are executed properly within budget and timeline.

Regulatory Compliance

: Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations related to safety and accessibility.

Project Management

: Oversee the project from conception to completion, addressing any issues that arise during the installation process.

Budget Management

: Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring that designs meet financial parameters.

Stay Updated

: Keep abreast of latest trends in kitchen design, appliances, and technology to incorporate innovative solutions.
Skills Required:

Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision). Strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, and design principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and teams. Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications:

Experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field is often preferred. Experience in residential design, specifically kitchens, is highly desirable. Certification in design would be a plus

Pay: $52,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
