Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices and washing dishes. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation methods, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
