Commisso\'s Fresh Foods offers a wide variety of products that range from our in-house kitchen and bakery to imports from all over Europe. When choosing the right products to carry we focus on fresh, organic, and specialty products that cannot be found within the Niagara Region.

About The Role

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, as Kitchen Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, serving food items, maintaining store displays, and providing daily support to our kitchen department.

Type: Part Time | Full Time | Permanent

Schedule: Day, Afternoon, and Evening Shifts | Between 6am to 8pm

Hours per Week: 20 to 40 hours

Education: Highschool (preferred)

Your Impact

• Greet customers and answer questions in a friendly manner.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold food such as: sandwiches, pasta, chicken, fish, vegetables, soup, etc.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the department, including workstations and display cases.
• Ensure cases, displays, and tables are well-merchandised and properly signed to showcase quality.
• Manage inventory levels.

About You

• Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or banquet hall is considered an asset.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds.
• Must be able to stand, lift, carry, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Available to work: days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
