Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Kitchen Assistant to support our team in daily kitchen operations.as well as some house keeping requirements The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen environment. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food service and eager to gain experience in a dynamic culinary setting.

Duties

Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health and safety standards Support the storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper labeling and organization Help with dishwashing and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards Restock supplies as needed to ensure all kitchen areas are well-equipped for daily operations Follow safety protocols and assist in maintaining a safe working environment for all staff members Support team during meal service times by providing additional assistance as required

Requirements

Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads (up to 25 pounds) Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards is preferred but not required Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
