Kitchen Assistant

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30?AM-3:30?PM

About Us

Tiny Bites Catering prepares nutritious, kid-friendly meals for daycare centres across Ottawa. We are seeking a dependable Kitchen Assistant to support kitchen operations and uphold high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, and surfaces

- Pack deliveries, label items, and manage inventory

- Help with kitchen setup and breakdown, including some meal assembly

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines per Ottawa Public Health

- Deliver food to the schools and Childcare centers

- Kitchen cleanup

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or similar food-prep environment

- Ability to lift up to 50?lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Compensation & Benefits

- $17.6/hr - $20.35/hr + 0.72 cents / KM driven for deliveries
