We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes. Ensure all food handling and safety standards are met according to regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages. Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency in food quality. Participate in training sessions on food safety and kitchen procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and cooking techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
