Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting chefs in food preparation. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and meals according to recipes and instructions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Support chefs during service by preparing garnishes, salads, and other side dishes. Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and kitchen practices. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary. Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
