We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. Support chefs in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in catering events by preparing food items and assisting with service as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on knife skills and food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Experience in catering or culinary arts is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
