Job Description

Evolve Therapeutic is looking for a passionate and skilled Kinesiologist to become a key member of our expanding team in Richmond. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to improving clients' physical health, performance, and overall well-being. As a Kinesiologist with us, you'll have the chance to work closely with other healthcare professionals while contributing to the growth of our kinesiology program.

Key Responsibilities:



You'll also be responsible for creating personalized treatment plans to support patients' recovery and extending treatment under ICBC for ongoing care. Conduct thorough consultations with clients, including reviewing their physical activity history, evaluating current fitness levels, and setting personalized health and fitness goals. Create evidence-based exercise programs that promote recovery from injury, improve physical performance, and support the management of chronic health conditions. Track and assess client progress regularly, making modifications to exercise plans as necessary. Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to design and implement movement-based treatment interventions. Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date records for each client, documenting consultations, exercise plans, and progress. Stay informed on the latest advancements in kinesiology, exercise science, and rehabilitation practices to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:



A Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology 1-2 years of experience in exercise program development and coaching, ideally in a clinical or multidisciplinary setting. Experience with ICBC claims and active rehabilitation is a plus. Must be a registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Strong knowledge of strength and conditioning, as well as rehabilitation techniques. Proficiency in designing evidence-informed exercise programs tailored to individual client needs. Demonstrated ability to coach clients effectively on exercise technique and form. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills. A commitment to continuing education and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.

: 15-20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as your caseload expands.
